How to type German Umlauts on a US keyboard on a Windows PC
See, it really works for the Umlauts: Ä Ö Ü ä ö ü, I still have to figure out how to type the sharp S character, ’s “s ^s ~s won’t do.
Does anybody have an idea how to get the sharp S working?
NB: Thanks for the hint on Facebook: "You need the RAlt key (or Ctrl + Alt) to type ß: RAlt + s = ß” – the ALT only worked after installing the Windows fix and rebooting the computer.
